Grants and contributions support our core activity of bringing happiness to hospitalized children through hospital visits and interactions. We are willing to discuss different opportunities depending on the level of contribution. For example, in exchange for significant, multi-year commitments, we would discuss Troupe naming rights. We also need sponsorships of individual clowns, or for a series of visits to a hospital or clinic. Our projected operating costs for FY 2011 are approximately $340,000, including in-kind donations. For the following projects, please consider providing partial if not full funding:
• Clown training and supervision including seminars by guest artists. Estimated cost $50,000 per year. Thank you to all who gave to the 'Dusty Star' fund for hospital clown training in Jen Ross' memory.
• New clown training. Estimated cost $2,000 per clown.
• Clown abroad Clowning in other countries would be a lift for the kids and their families and also a treat for our clowns which may help with clown retention. Estimated cost $10,000.
• Train the Trainers Program. A program to develop trainers to organize, instruct, or develop other troupes and clowns. Estimated cost $10,000.
• Giveaways for the Children. Safe toys that can be left with sick kids, such as stuffed clowns, music boxes, etc. Estimated cost $2000.
• Training Manual. Printing of our Training Manual and reproduction of the accompanying dvd. Estimated cost $2000.

Your contribution will help us immediately reach more children in more hospitals. With enough funding, we can expand to clowning in homes for terminally ill children who are spending their final days with family. We so appreciate your helping us reach more children.
We are a 501(c) (3) non-profit tax-exempt corporation dedicated to bringing children happiness … one clown at a time.
